Hello. This blog will chronicle my writing journey.

In 2021 I made the decision to self-publish the seven unpublished manuscripts gathering dust in my bottom draw. The seven manuscripts had been written over the course of the last twenty years. I never attempted to have them published until now. I tried half-heartedly to interest publishers in the past, but found writing more rewarding than the hard slog of writing and issuing query letters.

I’ve instituted a regime of reviewing each manuscript, working from the most recent Wolf of Old Town finished 2021 and ending with Thomas and the Search of the Golden Staircase written almost twenty years ago.

There is an older manuscript ‘The Library’ which took me five years to write. However, this will never see the light of the day, being unpublishable due to its length and slow pace. It would take me another lifetime to rewrite.

In this blog I will document my writing journey including the trials and tribulations in publishing my first novel the Wolf of Old Town.

For those also beginning their own journey I hope to share all tips, tricks, and pitfalls I accumulate along my journey.
